Introduction to Archaeology
This vessel was constructed using the coil method as demonstrated in the animation. In this case the coil lines on the outside of the vessel are only partially obliterated by pressing down the surface. This ware is consequently called corrugated ware, reflecting the corrugated look of the outside surface.
