The ECE 2500 HomePageWelcome. This is your official information source for Introduction to Digital Logic, a freshman-level engineering course, offered by the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, currently serving approximately 100 students. In this course we examine engineering methods for designing digital logic circuits such as what is commonly found in computers and other kinds of digital hardware. ECE 250 is a required course for students majoring in electrical engineering, computer systems engineering and computer science. Your instructor this fall is Dr. Dean Johnson, an Associate Professor in the Department. This Week's Schedule, Nov 24Exam II is this Tuesday, November 24. The second exam will consist of 20 multiple choice questions and cover the course material associated with Quizzes 6-9 (4 quizzes). The exam will be closed book/notes/calculator as before. Exam scores will be hopefully be posted on-line on Thanksgiving day by your red exam # (written on the upper right hand side of the white exam paper) which you will need to also mark in the month slot on your blue score sheet, as I will explain on Tuesday. There will be no labs this week, Thanksgiving week. When you come back, you will do Lab11: Code Sequence Detectors. The second lab assessment, on the following week, will also involve modelling, simulating and downloading a sequence detector similar to Lab 11 that your instructor will give you to do.
